An Osteopathic Understanding Of Running Biomechanics Form And Style
by John Atyeo – the Running Osteopath
We are very excited to have our very own local running star and osteopath, John Atyeo giving us an evening talk on running gait, common injuries, and an osteopathic approach to running. With John’s background as an elite runner, and his experience in the practice and teaching of Osteopathy, this talk should be of great interest to all our members, as we are all likely to see athletes and runners. In the build up for the next London Marathon this talk is timed perfectly to help those patients’ you may know who are struggling with early running injuries, and uncover some of John’s secrets. The talk is on Tuesday 11th November 7:30pm at North Oxford Golf Club
For the first time in the history of OON we are also donating any money made beyond the cost of running the evening to NCOR, who are dedicated to supporting research in Osteopathy. This is the first time (as far as we know!) that any regional organisation has done this, and should help support their charitable work. So please come along and enjoy the evening.
