We are very honoured to have Paul Brown joining us to give our next talk which promises to give you something you will be able to put into action in clinic with your patients the very next day.
NLP is described as “a system of alternative therapy … which seeks to educate people in self-awareness and effective communication, and to change their patterns of mental and emotional behaviour” (Oxford English Dictionary). For osteopaths working with people in pain, it introduces strategies to support patients that may complement clinical practice.
In this interactive workshop, delegates will learn and have the opportunity to try out tools and techniques to benefit their clinical practice. Attendees will be introduced to NLP, relevant research and its belief systems. They will then learn about state (emotions) management, perceptual filters, powerful questions, frames and meanings and creative visualisation/mental rehearsal.
Who is running the course? The course leader is Paul Brown, who graduated from the BSO in 2006. He runs ‘Empowering Beliefs’ and provides NLP to individuals and organisations. With his prior osteopathic experience and his current NLP experience, Paul brings a range of interesting case studies around how the mind can help or hinder the healing process.[button link=”http://www.osteopathicnetwork.org.uk/events/neuro-linguistic-programming-nlp-for-osteopaths/” color=”red” size=”large” target=””]Book Now![/button]
